RELEVENT EXPERIENCE

Dato’ Dr. Zulkifli has successfully worked on dozens of joint venture initiatives to commercialise, transfer of technology and develop projects such as radioisotope/ radiopharmaceutical, Iridium-192 sealed source, Cobalts-60 Sterilization Facility, Nuclear Reactor produced radionuclides, Personal Glass Radiation Dosimeter/ Film Badge, Biofertilizer and few others.
He also served as an expert, invited panel, development projects and courses director for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) programmes in various technology areas as well as active involvement in the Regional Cooperative Agreement (RCA) project management.
During his term as Deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI) between 2014 – 2016, Dato’ Dr. Zulkifli accumulated extensive experience in managing and monitoring approximately 25 various agencies developmental innovation projects funded by the Ministry. He successfully drives the Malaysian Nuclear Agency Training Center to establish courses related to safety and nuclear technology training programmes.
He has also been very successful as an academic researcher, research paper advisor, book publisher and activist/promoter of nuclear-related technology.
Prior to his retirement from the Government in 2019, he was a Deputy Director General of Research and Development of Technology.
Previously, he was the President of the Malaysia Radiation Protection Association (MARPA), Chairman of the Joint Management Committee of Residence, Member of the National Committee of Radiation Protection Officer (JKPPS) for 2019 - 2020, and successfully chaired and organised the 10th International Conference on Isotope (10ICI) to be held in 2020 in Kuala Lumpur.
