The company adopts a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of bribery and corruption. The Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy sets out the guiding principles for personnel to address and manage bribery and corruption risks in all dealings and related issues that may arise in the course of business.

This policy should be read in conjunction with various policies, standard operating procedures, guidelines, and Code of Business Conduct. If multiple documents speak on the same subject, then the more stringent provision always applies.

VentureTECH adheres strictly to “No Gift” Policy subject to some clearly defined exceptions, Directors and Employees are, prohibited from receiving, seeking or soliciting gifts, entertainment, or favours of any kind from the Business Associates that could be interpreted as compromising his/her ability to make fair and rational business decisions.

However, we recognise that the exchange of business courtesies is customary and legitimate to manage the company’s goodwill and/or strengthen relationships with stakeholders. Such courtesies are allowed if they are not lavish, appropriate and reasonable guided by accepted business practices that VentureTECH operates in and is not intended to inappropriately influence the decisions of the person involved.

Giving of gifts to Businesses Associates is only allowed for personnel with approval granted within reasonable judgment, whereby gifts given must be in accordance with VentureTECH’s policy and procedures.

To determine whether to receive or accept a gift, consideration will be given to the following key guiding principles:

• VALUE of the gift;
• PURPOSE for the giving/receipt of the gift;
• TRANSPARENCY in the giving/receipt of the gift;
• PERCEPTION in the giving/receipt of the gift; and
• NATURE of the gift;

VentureTECH prohibits making or accepting, either directly or indirectly, facilitation payment and kickbacks of any kind with the intention to influence other party in his/her duties. 

VentureTECH does not make or offer monetary or in-kind political contributions to political parties, political party officials or candidates for political office. 

VentureTECH prohibits dealing with any party known or reasonably suspected of any form of corrupt practices.
